attingham_parkThe National Trust welcomes cyclists and if you arrive at Attingham Park by bicycle you can visit the grounds for free (an admission charge must be paid to go into the house).

Cycle routes to Attingham Park

Suggested cycle routes to Attingham Park are available in the following Cycle Shrewsbury leaflets:

These leaflets are available from local visitor information centres, alternatively download the leaflets using the links above or use our electronic form to order hard copies.

At Attingham Park

Cyclists can enter the grounds from the entrance gate by Home Farm, on the Uffington-Atcham Road; this saves a detour for cyclists using National Cycle Routes 81 or 45 from Upton Magna. This gate is exit-only for motorists visiting Attingham, so signs will be put up to tell drivers to expect cyclists travelling against the flow of traffic.

Cycle Shrewsbury is also working with the National Trust to improve cycle parking at the property.

Finally please note that only children under 5 on trainer bikes are allowed to cycle on the footpaths within the grounds.

Find out more about Attingham Park on the National Trust website.
