Shrewsbury BikeFest 2010

Shrewsbury Sports Village, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury

12th June, 2010 - 10:00 to 16:00

A fantastic free day out for all the family!

The fourth annual BikeFest includes something for everyone. Activities start at intervals throughout the day, so come along at any time to join in:

• Cycle skills training for all ages and abilities
• The pedalling picnic
• Rides for all ages and abilities
• Bike try outs including Quest 88 - adapted bikes for cyclists of all abilities

There are loads of other activities running all day including:

• Face painting
• Bling your bike
• Dr Bike – bike maintenance and servicing
• Make your own smoothie with our pedal powered “Smoothie Bike”
• Bike It tent celebrating 1st year of Bike It with lots of fun activities

Entry and participation in all the activities listed above is free.

Equipment you'll need to bring to this event

Participants are advised to bring their own bikes and helmets. However, bikes and helmets will be available to borrow for cycle training and to hire at a small cost for bike rides. There will also be bikes available to try out.

If you want to hire a bike for the picnic rides please contact Spokes Cycles Hire on 07745 587770 in advance; they will deliver the bike to the Sports Village (or your home) for you.
