If you are a keen cyclist who wants to do something to help out a good cause you may be interested in sponsoring participants or participating in one of these events.

Ride for Royal Shrewsbury Hospital neonatal ward - 29 May-2 June 2010

Stuart Thomas and friends will be doing a 300 mile ride around mid and north Wales to raise money for the neonatal ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, following the premature birth of Stuart's son Sam in December 2009.

Bickerton Challenge Ride - 25 July 2010

A tough 104-mile ride into Wales, with over 10,300 ft of climbing, to raise money for Help for Heroes organised by Chester and North Wales CTC. To find out more visit the CTC website or download the event poster.

Severn Hospice London to Paris bike ride - 10-13 September 2010

The Severn Hospice is organising a sponsored bike ride through the French countryside finishing at the Eiffel Tower.

Big Heart Ride in Sinai

Congratulations to Cycle Shrewsbury member, Linda Harvey, who completed the Big Heart Ride in Sinai between 7-15 November 2009. Her group has raised approximately £50,000 for 4 heart charities.
