The Big Pedal is coming!

Bike It officer, Kim Williams, prepares for The Big Pedal....

big_pedal_logo One week to go until the start of ‘The Big Pedal’ virtual bike race. There is still time for schools to register for the full event or for the special stages in the last week. Visit www.thebigpedal.org.uk for lots more information. I will be out and about helping all of my schools to generate as many cycle journeys as possible. Journeys by teachers, parents, nans and granddads all count too!!

I am also looking forward to getting lots of use out to the 2 recycled learn to ride bikes that I have been working on over the winter months. Converted from a couple of very pink bikes with stabilisers we now have two very smart balance bikes. If you want learn to ride sessions in your Bike It school please get in touch.
