There will be lots of cool cycling stuff happening at schools in Shrewsbury over the next year. Check this page often to find out all the latest news on what's happening at your school.

In January 2010 all of the Bike It schools entered a competition to design pictures for a Bike It calendar. Each month we are going to feature one of the best pictures from the competition at the top of this page. This month is Kirsty from Oxon Primary School's sunny picture for July.
Cycling coachOur cycling coach, Richard Stephens started work in March 2010 and has been working with the following schools:
To celebrate Richard's work this year, the schools sports partnership organised a junior bikefest and a cyclo-cross event. Read about the events and see pictures here.

Safer routes to school is a project which makes improvements to roads and paths around schools to try to make it safer for children going to school.

You might have noticed some new cycle racks or shelters being built at your school recently.
Cycle Shrewsbury has started to make sure that all schools in Shrewsbury have covered bike racks so that you can park your bike without having to worry about it getting stolen or wet from the rain. We've also been installing new scooter racks to free up space in your cycle racks for bikes.
