We know that most of you would prefer to cycle to school...
We know that riding your bike is so much more fun than sitting in a car and it’s also better for you and the world around you...

...we also know that your parents sometimes stop you from riding your bike as much as you want to because they’re worried about your safety.

Cycle Shrewsbury wants to make it better and easier for you to ride your bike

We’re going to do this by:

Building more cycle routes to schools and other places you want to go to
Building more places to cross the road near schools and other place you want to go to
Putting in more places for you to park your bike at school. So you don’t have to worry about it getting wet or stolen
Teaching lots more kids to cycle, so you have better skills
Running cycling events and activities at school
Giving your parents lots of advice so they feel happier for you to ride your bike
