Dr. Bike
Dr Bike is Cycle Shrewsbury's mobile bike mechanic. He will:
- check your bike to make sure that it is safe;
- make adjustments to your bike such as pumping up tyres, oiling the chain, adjusting the saddle height and tightening the brakes
- carry out minor repairs such as replacing an inner tube or gear/brake cable
- advise you how to check your bicycle stays safe and comfortable to ride in the future.
- advise you if your bicycle is unsafe to ride and/or needs further work which needs to be carried out at a bike shop.
Dr Bike services are free but you will be asked to pay for any parts that are required.
Dr Bike services will be available throughout the year at schools, workplaces and at outdoor public events in Shrewsbury.

Dr Bike will be check bikes for free between 10.30am and 1.30pm at the Greenhous Football Stadium, Oteley Road, Shrewsbury on 11 July 2010. Find out more about this event.
