Greenfields and Herongate Pedestrian and Cycle Direction Signs

A new pedestrian and cycle direction scheme is being installed during August 2010 in the Herrongate and Greenfields area.

The signs will direct people along the existing shared routes to useful destinations around this area of Shrewsbury. The scheme includes a trial of signs showing travel times in minutes to some destinations.

The signs will make it easier for people to navigate their way around this area on foot and by bike and we hope it will encourage more people to walk and cycle.
